Vanessa Rudin

Ms. Vanessa Rudin is a versatile and highly analytical entrepreneur and product leader, passionate about designing, building, and delivering scalable, high-quality digital products that delight customers.   Most recently, Vanessa played a senior product manager role for a state government financial technology modernization consulting engagement.  Prior to that, Vanessa grew a digital health concept at an early-stage health tech startup into a scalable business, resulting in the first commercial sale to a health insurer, completion of foundational service offering, and $1M of angel investment to compete for Series A funding.  Vanessa also founded a community development financial institution (CDFI) to drive small business growth for under-resourced New Yorkers through an innovative, international microfinance model.

Vanessa has 10 years’ experience managing cross-functional teams to launch and operationalize innovative service design, process improvement, and strategic planning projects in healthcare and education industries. Vanessa began her career in database design at cutting edge technology companies such as Hewlett Packard Laboratories, BBN Technologies, and Jet Propulsion Laboratories.   She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at U.C. Berkeley and Master’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Urban and Regional Planning.
